Live Sh--
From Intermittent Wiki
Live Sh-- (L-I-V-E space S-H dash, dash... pronounced Live Shit, Live Show, Live Shhh, etc) is an intermittent performance party situation organized or "curated" by Chris Peck and Chase Granoff, taking place late at night in the raw industrial basement of The Chocolate Factory Theater in LIC, Queens, NYC.
Live Sh-- is an informal opportunity for dance, music and various undefinable artists to show challenging work and experiment with risky ideas. As curators, our aim is to create an environment that stimulates adventurous performance and cross-fertilization. We seek to juxtapose work from various communities and scenes which are often separated, but share surprising overlapping concerns. Live Sh-- attracts an engaged audience with diverse interests to complete a casual atmosphere for drinking beer and enjoying new performance work. In some sense the performance usually continues afterwards at a local bar.
